Considerable financial losses to the principal may result from errors committed by a
contract research organization during the planning, organization and implementation of
a clinical trial.
These damages can be covered by E&O insurance (errors and omissions).
CLINICAL TRIAL INSURANCE
for clinical trials
Clinical trial insurance is legally mandatory in order to protect study participants.
National requirements differ from country to country. Coverage level, deductible and
exclusion criteria vary according to national specifications. Approval by the ethics
committees is contingent upon submission of insurance documents according to local
regulations.
