TRAVEL ACCIDENT INSURANCE FOR CLINICAL STUDIES
Which routes are insured?
The insurance cover is provided during the term of the contract for accidents suffered by the insured person
- on the direct route from home, place of work or (university) school to the place of study
- on the direct route from the place of study back to one of these places and –
- during the stay at the study site, from the moment of entering (private practice, study room of a clinic, etc.) until leaving, provided that the place of study is visited for the purpose of participating in the study.
What constitutes an accident under commuting accident insurance?
An accident occurs when the insured person suffers involuntary damage to their health as a result of a sudden external event (accident event). No payments are made in the event of illness or infirmity. The prerequisite for benefits is that the insured person’s physical or mental capacity is permanently impaired (disability) as a result of the accident.
Our service for your commuting accident insurance
We offer commuting accident insurance either as a supplement to your clinical trial insurance or as the sole coverage for trials that are not subject to compulsory insurance. We also have the option of offering this commuting accident insurance for countries within the EU and in some cases outside the EU via an international program. We will be happy to provide you with more details.
